Best Presentation Award for Johannes Wieczorek
Johannes Wieczorek received the ‘Award for the best oral presentation’ at the 20th Network Young Membrains Conference 2024 (NYM) in Prague, Czech Republic. The award is sponsored by the European Membrane Society. The NYM conference was co-organized by Dániel Gardenö from UCT Prague, who is a visiting scientist from the group of Prof. Karel Friess.
In his talk, Johannes presented on the “Coupling of membrane separation and chromatography” for the efficient purification of PEG homologs. Also, first insights of our research together with Dániel Gardenö and Karel Friess on novel 2D carbon-based membranes were presented. Co-authors were Dániel Gardenö, Tanja Weber, Karel Friess, and Malte Kaspereit.
